Starting Point is a 3-week course focused on getting to know Plainfield Christian Church. You will have the opportunity to meet a few of our ministers, learn about our history, discover what we believe, and find ways to get involved. This course will take place in the Chapel room.

In preparation for the coming season, we will gather on Monday mornings at 6:00am and evenings at 6:00pm in the Worship Center. We will gather to worship and center ourselves on the birth of Jesus. Word and Table are two pillars of worship and have been around as long as Christians have worshiped. Join us as we seek a deep connection with God through prayer and Scripture, silence and song, and the receiving of communion. May we all seek to tune our hearts to receive the miraculous gift of Christ's birth. This event should last around 45 minutes.

Middle schoolers, join us for our Middle School Christmas Party! On December 17th, from 5:30-7:00pm we will meet at the Pier for Pizza, Games, Cookie Decorating, etc. Invite a friend and join us on the 17th!

We will be sending a team to serve with BLOC Ministries in Cincinnati from April 1-5, 2024. BLOC Ministries works in the inner city Cincinnati neighborhood of Price Hill. Their mission is to build relationships with their neighbors and share hope in brokenness. They do this through ministries like their Neighborhood Hub community center, food pantry, community cookouts, ministry to women, and sports ministry.

Our team will be immersed in BLOC’s ministry to Price Hill. They will receive training in urban mission work, get to serve in BLOC’s different ministries, meet families from the community, and work on a special project designed specifically for our group. Team members may also choose to do some fun things around Cincinnati before they leave.

This trip is open to all, but is great for families. The trip will be offered over Plainfield’s Spring Break. Children as young as seven can attend. This is a perfect opportunity for families to serve together and for parents to invest in their children.

The estimated cost of this trip is $300 per person. That covers transportation, food, housing, and project costs. Team members will travel in church vans and stay in BLOC team housing. BLOC’s team housing (a large house in Price Hill) is equipped with cots, a full kitchen, and multiple bathrooms and showers.
