Plan a Visit
Visit Plainfield Christian Church
We’re glad you’re considering a visit to Plainfield Christian Church! It can be uncomfortable walking into a new place, so we want to help you plan for what to expect on Sundays.
Sunday Worship Services:
7:45am | 9:15am | 10:45am | 5:00pm
All four services are identical. You’ll hear preaching from God’s Word, receive communion, and have the opportunity to worship through singing, prayer, and giving.
The Treehouse Children's Center has a secure nursery and classrooms for your child, where they engage in age-appropriate games and lessons from the Bible.
Your 1st-5th graders will experience worship through singing, interactive activities, and small-group Bible lessons. These small groups are assigned by grade and gender.
For families worshipping with their kids, a Nursing Room for mothers and a Cry Room for all parents are located right outside of the Worship Center if you need to step out during service. Room 101 in the Treehouse Children’s Center is another private room for nursing mothers; simply ask a volunteer to use the nursing room.
Your 6th, 7th, or 8th grader will experience worship and group lessons on Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:15am, assigned according to their grade and gender. Adult sponsors lead these groups centered on Biblical teaching and life application.
High schoolers meet on Sunday nights from 5:00-7:00pm. Your 9th-12th grader will experience a time of worship, teaching and small group gathering centered on Biblical teaching. These discipleship groups are designed to give your student solid relationships with other students and mentor relationships with leaders who will help them discern how to live for Jesus in this important phase of life.
There are several parking areas around the building. The main lot is on the southeast corner of the church building. You can enter through the main entrance (with the white pillars) or on the west side of the building where the awning is. For the Children's Center (birth through elementary school), park on the north side of the building and enter through Door 5.
Door 1, the main entrance with the white pillars, is closest to the Worship Center.
Door 3 will take you to the Hub. (That's where the coffee is!)
Door 5, on the north side of the building, is the quickest way to the Treehouse Children's Center, where kids in 5th grade and younger can be checked in for kids' programming during the 9:15am, 10:45am, and 5:00pm services.
No need to worry about what to wear. You’ll quickly discover that we are a group of ordinary people who serve an extraordinary God. Come as you are.
