Easter at Plainfield Christian
Easter Sunday
6:00am | 7:45am | 9:15am | 10:45am
What if there’s more to life than what you’re settling for? Bring all of your messes, regrets, fears and shortcomings…and watch what God can do with them. Join us on Easter to hear how the resurrection of Jesus can turn our worst moments into our best opportunities.
We're so glad that you're considering a visit to Plainfield Christian Church this Easter. We know it can be uncomfortable walking into a new place, so we want to help you plan for what to expect on Easter Sunday.
All four services in the Worship Center are identical. You’ll hear preaching from God’s Word, receive communion, and have the opportunity to worship through singing, prayer, and giving. During the 9:15am and 10:45am service times, worship services will also take place in the Fellowship Center to accommodate a busy Easter morning! You are welcome to worship in either venue.
There are two main entrances to the building. Park in the front parking lot to enter through Door 1 (the main entrance with the white pillars) and you'll be able to head right into the Worship Center. Drive around to the back of the building and you'll see Door 5, the quickest way to the Treehouse Children's Center, where kids in 5th grade and younger can be checked in for kids' programming during the 9:15 and 10:45 services.
- Birth-5th Grade programming will be available at both the 9:15 and 10:45am services in the Treehouse Children's Center. As you arrive in the Children’s Center, you will notice a staff of trained volunteers. They will welcome you and help you become familiar with the Treehouse facility. They will also assist you in the check-in process. This process is simple and designed to ensure the safety of your child. You will receive a security tag that you will use later when you pick up your child. If this is your first time visiting on a Sunday morning, consider pre-registering your child below for quicker check-in!
- Middle school and high school students are invited to worship in the main services. There will be no student programming this Sunday.
We look forward to seeing you and are eager to help your child have a safe, fun time learning how to follow Jesus!
There will be no Sunday classes or groups meeting in the building on Easter Sunday.

Easter Stories & Songs
April 13 | 7:00pm | Worship Center
Easter: Stories & Songs consists of ten songs that combine brilliant folk-style musicianship with introspective, thoughtful storytelling to present an intimate look at the humanity and divinity of Jesus Christ during the week of the crucifixion. With guitars, piano, mandolin, hammered dulcimer, penny whistle, organ, even an accordion, Easter: Stories & Songs brilliantly tells the story of Jesus during his Passion Week by hearkening back to the humility of His birth and peering forward to the glory of His Kingdom.

Celebrate Holy Week
Good Friday Service
April 18 | 6:00pm & 7:30pm | Worship Center
On Good Friday, we remember the sacrifice of Jesus through Scripture, reflection, and worship. Come and behold the depth of God’s love at the cross. Kids' programming will be available during the 6:00pm service.
Praying for the One
April 18-20 | 8:00pm-5:00am | North Property
Join us for 34 hours of continuous prayer around the fire, from the close of our Good Friday service to the dawn of Easter Sunday. We’ll be praying for the one—those in our community who are searching, hurting, or far from God, asking Him to move in their lives. Come for a few minutes or a few hours as we keep watch, believing in the power of resurrection hope for every one who needs Jesus.
