Jeff Acton
Discipleship Director
Jeff and his wife Courtney have been married for over 20 years. They met and got married in California. After living in South Korea and Akron, Ohio, they moved back to California where Jeff served as the Pastor of Outreach and Missions at a church for 12 years. Their three kids, Coen, Addison and Eliza, were all born in California. After California, they served as missionaries in Mozambique for 6 1/2 years and moved to Indiana in July of 2023. Courtney works in a Special Education classroom as a paraprofessional.
Jeff enjoys hanging out with his family, going on adventures with Courtney and watching soccer with his son. Jeff’s favorite team is Tottenham Hotspur, while Coen’s is Liverpool. He and his girls enjoy a good movie night. The whole family enjoys traveling and trying new foods from around the world. Jeff’s favorite food is anything Korean.
Jeff loves the vision of Plainfield Christian: to be fully alive in Jesus. “This is the hope and prayer of my life,” he shares, “the life of those in my family, and us together at Plainfield Christian. Jon Arvin
Jon and his wife, Melanie, have been married for over 17 years and have 3 children: Sarah, Christian, and Jolie. He has been a member of Plainfield Christian for over 40 years and a teacher in Plainfield Schools for the same amount of time. In his time at Plainfield Christian Church, Jon has served as an elder, youth group sponsor, worship leader, adult teacher, and choir member.
Bob Boswell
Publications and Creative Arts Coordinator
Since joining the Plainfield Christian Church staff in 1979, Bob has served in the areas of music ministry, children’s ministry and church communications. He is from Atlanta, Georgia and graduated from Point University (formerly Atlanta Christian College) in 1976. Bob enjoys playing the piano, arranging music, spending time with friends, playing games, movies, reading, cooking, watching the Colts, and is particularly intrigued with the church’s rich history. One of his favorite passages is 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12.
Brad Campbell
Worship Minister
Brad is our Worship Minister, bringing passionate energy and intentionality to the ways we worship together on Sunday mornings. Outside the church, he's often found with his wife Alison, embracing the outdoors, savoring coffee, and making memories with their Golden Retriever, Luna. Currently, Brad studies at Duke Divinity School, where he does research in the fields of Theology and the Arts and Worship History. Above all else, Brad loves spending time with people and making new friends!
Brian Cragen
Executive Director
Brian and Diana joined Plainfield Christian Church in 2002. He is a 1995 Purdue graduate in Computer and Electrical Engineering, while Diana holds a Nursing degree from IUPUI and now teaches math at Plainfield Middle School. They cherish their three children and four grandchildren.
Brian and Diana have a shared passion in college sports, where they spend much of their free time cheering on their favorite teams. Family is at the center of their lives, providing them with endless joy and cherished moments. Together, they embrace faith, education, and the thrill of sports, crafting a fulfilling life filled with love and shared interests.
Brad Deputy
Production Coordinator
Brad graduated from Johnson University in 2022 and has been working in production for a number of years. He's a huge nerd with a love for Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars. His three favorite hobbies are video games, photography, and collecting a variety of things. His favorite sports team is the Tune Squad from 1992's Space Jam.
Todd Dillon
Care Minister
Todd visits PCC members and friends in the hospitals, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, memory care units, rehab facilities as well as checking on those who are “homebound.” He coordinates a team of PCC volunteers that provide pre-marital mentoring leading up to their wedding celebrations. Todd is married to Lyn, and there is a never a dull moment! They have 3 diverse sons, 1 precious daughter, 2 beautiful daughters-in-law, 1 charming son-in-law, 7 brilliant grandchildren—and a partridge in a pear tree. Todd directs the theater productions for Plainfield High School and area community theater groups, He spends time with his family, watches TV series, and hunkers down with a good book. Todd loves PCC’s heritage and their commitment to helping people know the one true God through worship, Bible study, service, and community.
Noelle Edmondson
Early Start Teacher
Noelle graduated from Ozark Christian College with her Associates in Christian Ministry in 2015. She later became a paraprofessional in a Missouri school until she had her son in 2018. She moved to Indiana in 2020 and started working in a preschool where she received her Child Development Associate credential. When she is not teaching, she loves to take her son swimming. To relax she grabs her hooks and crochets. When she gets the chance, she loves to act on stage and sing.
Morgan Eggers
Next Gen Director & Elementary Minister
Morgan provides support and vision for the Next Gen department at Plainfield, while also leading the elementary schoolers of our kid’s ministry. He grew up in a small town in northeast Tennessee. Morgan loves to travel, golf, cook, spend time with friends, and watch his beloved Tennessee Titans or New York Mets play. Morgan is grateful to the people of Plainfield for caring well for him.
Maureen Giblin
Executive Administrative Assistant
Maureen has one married son and a beautiful granddaughter. She likes spending time with her family going to the park, beach, and picnics. She also enjoys music, hiking, baseball, football, and college basketball. Maureen graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor’s in Special Education. She spent 16 years as a teacher--the last nine years in Kosova--before joining the staff at Plainfield Christian Church.
Gina Grimes
Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
Gina received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Franklin College with a middle school math endorsement. She then taught 7th and 8th grade math at Avon Middle School South for seven years. After having her second child, she had the opportunity to stay home with her boys, Vance and Carter. Gina began her career with the Preschool in 2019. She is a member at PCC, and often teaches Sunday School for PreK kids. If she is not maintaining their home zoo comprised of six different species of animals with her husband Ben, she's usually crocheting or reading.
Karen Guess
Preschool Teacher/Assistant Director
Karen has degrees in Child Development from Indiana State University and in Early Childhood Education from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College with coursework in Curriculum and Instruction at Indiana Wesleyan University. She holds Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten licenses and worked with the Indiana Department of Education developing the Indiana Early Learning Standards. In 2013, Karen joined the Preschool staff. Away from Preschool, she loves running. She and her husband have two daughters/son-in-laws and six grandchildren; and, their families are active members in their church. They are longtime Colts season ticket holders and also enjoy hiking with a goal of visiting every national park.
Billy Haskins
Groups Minister
Billy leads the Groups Ministry and previously served in the Next Gen ministry. He and his wife, Teresa, have 3 sons: Travis, Jesse, and Sam. When Billy has free time he likes to hike, listen to all kinds of music, and solve the world’s problems with great friends and a cup of coffee. When it comes to Plainfield Christian Church, Billy loves the rare find of a family atmosphere at a large church.
Dawn Hetzler
Perfect Fit and Treehouse Coordinator
Dawn has been married to her husband, Erik, for 18 years and they have two incredible teenagers, Nathan and Lilah. Dawn was born and raised in Plainfield and her family became a part of the Plainfield Christian Church family in 2019. In her free time, Dawn enjoys reading, exercising, decorating, outdoor activities, and a good cup of coffee and conversation with a friend! Dawn's experience and education center around both Early Childhood Education and Special Event/Children's Programming. When it comes to Plainfield Christian Church, Dawn loves the opportunity to create a bond and love with the kids at PCC, while personalizing their church experiences and connecting with their families.
Ruby Jacobs
Preschool Teacher
Ruby attended Ball State University for undergraduate and Marian University for her Masters. After being a special education teacher in Avon for 8 years, Ruby stepped away to stay home with her boys. She has had a lot of amazing opportunities over the years and is thankful it has all brought her to where she is today. Ruby and her family have lived in Avon the past 15 years. She and her husband, Tim, love their community and enjoy all things outdoors! Their boys Bram, Zeke, and Fynn stay busy with school, soccer, and music. Her family loves bike riding, hiking, and spending time together.
Amanda Knarr
Custodial Coordinator
Amanda is a mother to her beautiful daughter, Melody, and a musician. She enjoys high-intensity workouts, playing flute/piccolo with the Hendrick Symphony Orchestra, and tent camping. She finds God’s love most evident in the outdoors and working behind-the-scenes in service.
Betsy Krieger
Ministry Administrator
Betsy has worked in the front office since 2013. She is married to Darel and together they have six children and three grandchildren. She grew up in Plainfield and was baptized at Plainfield Christian Church in 1972. She is a sports fan – especially the Colts and the Cincinnati Reds. She loves collecting antiques of all kinds, singing, and spending time with family.
Diane Mills
Financial Administrative Assistant
Diane assists Jill Stout, the Financial Clerk, with financial tasks. She grew up in Plainfield and later spent several years living in Indianapolis. She moved back to Plainfield in 2008. Diane enjoys spending time with family and friends, day trips to Indiana towns, baking and reading.
Tommy Moore
Ministry Resident
Tommy is our ministry resident, working closely with the Next Gen and Worship Arts teams as he hones his skills and learns more ways to care for God’s people well. He graduated from Johnson University with a degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling, but also has a great passion for worship ministry. When he is not at church, Tommy enjoys music production, film photography, and Cincinnati Bengals football.
Tory Murray
Facilities Director
Tory works to ensure that the church campus is as clean and prepared as possible for all events that take place. He is married to Jeanine, who works at Midwest Center for Joint Replacement. They have one daughter, Alyssa, and two sons, Ayden and Avery. Tory loves traveling with his family and spending time with them. Tory appreciates that at Plainfield Christian Church, you never know how you will get to impact the Kingdom on any given day.
Kyle Nelson
Worship Arts Director
Kyle is our Worship Arts Director and believes wholeheartedly that all our creativity is a gift from and a reflection of the Maker. He seeks to weave services which embody these gifts from the Maker in a way that honors the old and new, lost and found, young and seasoned. Kyle has been married to his best friend, Stephanie, since 2003. Their house is full of energy with their four sons. Kyle thrives when he's with his family and going for bike rides, hiking, campfires, and writing songs.
Hayley Nichols
Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
Hayley grew up in Columbus, Indiana. She attended Ball State University, earning a degree in Family and Child Studies. Upon graduation, she gained 6 years of experience in early childhood education as a teacher, and then administrator. With the birth of her second child she decided to take on a new role as a stay at home mom. During that time she discovered a love for the Plainfield community. Hayley and her husband David attend church at PCC with their two children, Turner and Scottie. They enjoy serving at Pier 14 as middle school small group leaders. When she isn't volunteering or working with the PTO, Hayley enjoys time with family, bike rides, long walks with her dog, and pickleball with friends.
Gail Osgatharp
Office Manager Administrator
Gail assists in the central office with a wide range of ministry needs and details for church family, staff, and visitors. She is a native born Hoosier from Northern Indiana but has strong roots in Tennessee. Gail and husband, John, have three adult children and six grandchildren. Gail enjoys time with family and friends, a good cup of coffee, nature, classic movies, and reading. She is grateful for God’s people and the solid Biblical teaching at Plainfield Christian Church. Gail has always felt at home here from her first visit in 1991.
Luke Proctor
Senior Minister
Luke Proctor grew up in Joplin, Missouri, where he developed a love for Jesus and the St. Louis Cardinals (in that order). While attending Ozark Christian College, Luke fell in love with Rebekah and was called by God to preach the gospel. As proof that God still does miracles today, Rebekah agreed to marry Luke. Together, they moved to Hendricks County and joined the Plainfield Christian Church family in August of 2017.
Since then, God has blessed them with three sons: Judah, Calvin, and Wesley. Their house is a beautiful mixture of laughter, blood, love, and chaos. On his days off, you can probably find Luke wrestling his boys, playing sports with Rebekah, drinking too much sweet tea, or tinkering on one of his old tractors.
If you asked Luke to describe his life, he’d simply point you to Acts 20:24, “...I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”
Lisa Roesler
Next Gen Administrative Assistant
Lisa has been married to Tim for 40 years and they have three children, one granddaughter, and a grandson on the way. She has degrees in School Library Media and Educational Leadership from IU. She really enjoys co-leading the Friday Morning Ladies Bible Study. In her spare time she likes to cook, read murder mystery/crime novels, quilt, and make wool applique projects.
Ashley Skinner
Communications Coordinator
Ashley and her family have loved Plainfield Christian Church since their first Sunday in 2017 when her husband, Deric, joined the staff as the High School Minister. A few years later, Ashley took on the role of Communications Coordinator. She enjoys being organized and appreciates the opportunity to use her skills when she is not at home keeping up with their three kids! In her spare time, you’ll usually find her reading, running or working on a house project.
Deric Skinner
High School Minister
Deric is happily married to his lovely wife, Ashley. They have three awesome kids: Jake, Reid and Reagan. He is a graduate of Johnson Bible College and loves almost all sports, coaching his kids in those sports, Harry Potter, traveling, and trying new types of food. He is a born and raised Purdue fan and loves when March Madness rolls around.
Barb Smith
Preschool Director
Barb is a graduate of Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and has been the PCC Preschool Director since the Preschool began in 2003. Barb has been a member of PCC since 1995. Barb is married to her High School sweetheart, has two grown children, and a grandson. When not playing with her grandson, or teaching Preschool Chapel Time, Barb loves to read, walk, and drink an Iced Chai Tea Latte from Starbucks.
Jill Stout
Financial Clerk
As the Plainfield Christian Church Financial Clerk, Jill is responsible for providing accounting and payroll support to our Executive Director. Jill and her husband Norm have been married for over 30 years and together, they have four children, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. They love to explore Indiana backroads on weekends, walking in nature, movies, and spending time with family and friends. She loves being part of a multigenerational church and is thankful that Plainfield Christian Church encourages all adults and families to be a part of a small group. Jill loves living life with her Home Group 'family' and navigating the Bible together.
Kalee Taylor
Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
Kalee Taylor graduated from University of Indianapolis in 2007 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and is also licensed as a Reading Specialist. She taught as a Title I Reading Teacher in Wayne Township for eleven years and this is her fifth year at PCC preschool. Kalee is married to Ricky and has two daughters; Remy and Ryah. Kalee enjoys spending time watching her girls sporting events and going to the beach with her family!
Riley Weaver
Impact Director and Missions Minister
Riley is an Avon native and has been part of Plainfield Christian Church for his entire life. He’s Kayla’s husband and Johnny’s dad. He studied Bible and Intercultural Studies at Ozark Christian College. In his free time, he likes cooking for family and friends and eating at authentic international restaurants.

Chuck Muston
Chuck and his wife, Kim, have been married for over 45 years and have been members of PCC since 1979. They have two children, CJ and Megan, and six grandchildren. Chuck has over thirty years of experience in Secondary School Education and retired from School Administration in 2012. During his time at PCC he has served as a Deacon, Sunday School teacher, youth group sponsor and camp counselor, as well as Executive Director from 2017 to 2022. Chuck enjoys creating memories with his family (especially his grandchildren!), gardening, various outdoor activities, and is an avid college football fan.
Stacey Peters
Stacey and Becky Peters were married in 2004 and have a daughter in high school and two sons in middle school and elementary. Stacey has been attending Plainfield Christian Church since the late 1990s. At PCC he teaches a Sunday morning class, serves as a small group leader in the high school ministry, and helps lead the Family Hope ministry. During the day, Stacey teaches math and sponsors the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Plainfield High School. He also coaches football at Plainfield Community Middle School. Being born in Nebraska means that, by default, he is a Huskers fan, through the thick and the thin.
Jon Polson
Jon and Lindsey Polson have been married for over 14 years and they have four children: Everest, Wilder, Fisher and Evie. Jon has been attending Plainfield Christian for over 15 years, teaches the Teknon Theou Sunday School class and has been involved in hospitality, Middle School, High School and College ministries. He works for Banning Engineering as a VP of Survey.
Dan Snodgrass
Dan is married to Barb and together they have two sons: Colton and Kyle (married to Megan), and two grandchildren, Cole and Sydney. Dan has been a member of Plainfield Christian for 42 years and has served in several ministry areas, including deacon of audio/video ministries. Dan currently works for AT&T.
Reggie Waugh
Reggie and his wife Shelly have been members of Plainfield Christian since 2001. He grew up in Ohio and graduated with a Business degree from Bluffton University where he and Shelly met. Reggie has been working in industrial sales for over 30 years. They have 3 children: Mallori, Alec, and Karlee. Reggie and Shelly also have three grandchildren.
